There are so many talented Irish audiobook narrators bringing great stories to life. We put together a list of 37 personal favorites – ranging from novelists to nonfiction and covering everything from fantasy to thrillers.
*** Listen a podcast summary of this article now on Google NotebookLM:
Ireland has such a rich storytelling tradition, it makes perfect sense Irish narrators would capture the lyrical lilt and musicality of the language so perfectly. And their accents transport you right to the Emerald Isle! Some of the narrators have acted on stage and screen, so they really know how to inhabit different characters and moods.
Many of the audiobook stories are set in Ireland, too! It makes it that much more special listening to the stories being read by an Irish voice.

Irish Audiobook Narrators
Our list contains, only Irish-born voice actors. As interesting with many of our lists, we found many of these voice artists were active in other parts of the entertainment industry. It was not uncommon to find narrators on our list, that were also stage and screen actors, too.
Like all our lists, we do not put our narrators in any order. Each person has different likes, and ours may not be yours. So, the list is in completely random order. We hope you enjoy, and find a new favorite among the 37 here. If we missed one, or a favorite ou yours, please let us know in the contact form below.

My name is Viv, and storytelling comes naturally to me. Whether I'm writing about distant lands or everyday life, I love capturing moments that make the heart swell or the mind ponder. I've always had a vivid imagination, and as a child I'd make up stories to tell my cat while I sipped my afternoon earl grey tea. As I grew older my tales found their way onto the pages of journals and eventually, into the hands of readers. There are no rules when it comes to my writing. I simply follow my curiosities, writing about whatever catches my eye - be it a colorful leaf floating by or an interesting conversation overheard. My stories wander freely without concern for genre or trendiness.
